The region around Lake Achensee has not one but two excellent golf clubs: the Golf- und Landclub Achensee in Pertisau and the Golfclub Posthotel Alpengolf in Achenkirch. Both are located close to the Seehotel Einwaller at around 1,000 metres above sea level, providing a spectacular location for your next round.
Don't forget to stop off every now and then to admire the majestic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains.

Leading golf course in Pertisau
Located at the foot of the Karwendel-Bergbahn cable car in Pertisau, the "Golf- und Landclub Achensee" was founded in 1934 and is the oldest golf club in the Tyrol. Despite its long history it is one of the most modern courses in Austria and includes a challenging 18-hole championship course.
The first tee is more or less in the centre of Pertisau. From there golfers head out onto the lush course with fine views of the Rofan and Karwendel Mountains.
Covered driving range
The "Golf- und Landclub Achensee" offers a covered driving range, chipping greens and a putting green for golfers keen to work on their skills.
The "Golf- und Landclub Achensee" is just 600 metres from the Seehotel Einwaller.
The Golfclub Posthotel Alpengolf in Achenkirch is perched on a sunny plateau 940 metres above sea level, with the highest point on the golf course 980 metres above sea level on the edge of the stunning Karwendel Nature Park.
The club has a 9-hole and an 18-hole course as well as a 300-year-old clubhouse known as the "Dollnhof".
